Most people think that RV’ing is expensive . . . and it can be if that’s what you want. There are private campgrounds and RV Country Clubs for those who can afford them. But what about the rest of us?

Using the internet and some of the RV trip planners, you can plan your route, find inexpensive camp grounds and many RV friendly opportunities. For instance, did you know that most of the Indian Casino’s across America have very inexpensive rates for camping. They, of course, are counting on the fact that you’ll enjoy their casino, but they are generally high-end campgrounds with fantastic amenities and low rates. Often times, smaller counties and cities have often have city parks or county fairgrounds that have nice accommodations that are very inexpensive. And the nice thing about these facilities is that they are usually very convenient to the city and offer a bit of local flavor versus some of the bigger camp grounds.

A great tool for navigating America is one of the new iPad’s or some other form of tablet. They are much easier to use than a computer while you’re driving down the road.

Happy RV’ing!
